ATTEND AN ADVANCE ILLINOIS MEETING

Advance Illinois holds meetings across the state to gather input from as many stakeholders as possible. Parents, community members, as well as education, business, and civic leaders are welcome to share their thoughts, ideas, and stories.

Illinois' future depends on participation and support from leaders and citizens across all sectors of society. Advance Illinois needs your voices, and your vigilance to dramatically change education policy and practice.

Effingham Town Hall Highlights

Our first Town Hall was a great success! More than 200 people from the Effingham area joined us on Thu., March 26, to discuss how we can all work together to improve our schools. The crowd and the strong contribution of some of the area's high school students were a reflection of the area's passion for education. We'd like to thank everyone in Effingham, particularly our co-sponsor, the Effingham Area Chamber of Commerce, for a fabulous event. Below is a video highlight of the opening session. You can find other videos of the event here.
